You may consider trolling an enormous waste of time and wonder why we do it.
But I tell you, when I first came to tribe.net, my trolling skills were total novice (St. Jman will attest to that).
I learned a few things about trolling while here. How good I got at it is besides the point. Even St. Jman will admit I have learned a few tricks. And the thing is, I have found some of the trolling lessons I learned here to be very useful in real life.
Know why? Because people troll each other in real life. In particular, lawyers sometimes will troll and bait other lawyers.
My skill at recognizing it and learning how to win at it in real life have greatly improved since I have been on tribe.
So, uh, thanks, folks.

Sun, May 3, 2009 - 1:40 PMNah. That's just a rumor, and a rather lame one too.
It's true though, dealing with smart mean people on the internet made me a much better writer. Plus, those scary grad school seminars were like cuddle sessions. -

Tue, May 12, 2009 - 8:32 AMI have a technique for Meta Alts, It is called being bored shitless as they hand the keys from one uncreative dolt to another. And yes we smoke while we are bored shitless on the moon. We just don't post 4 pages of shit people won't read. Because on the moon we just skim to the part where you admit you are a pussy then laugh!
