okay, so let me get this straight: the troll is called "The Man," and people in a hippie tribe who claim to be anti-troll engage in a multiple-post thread with him? It's weird. It's like finding out people still do hella-coke when you haven't done it since the 80's and forget it's even around anymore. (Reminder: The answer to vanquishing trolls is to simply ignore them. Si facile.)

I analyze it to mean one of two things: 1) trolls are an essential public service in that they remind the rest of us that some people never learn, or 2) everyone is so freaking bored by their own content that they are, in fact, endorsing trolls as welcome respite.

As regards friends going through hard times I say the added benefit is the therapy of being able to yell at someone without it mattering. Why, I've done it myself on bad days and can vouch for the therapeutic effects. JUST FUCKING TRY ME!!!!
