... from our infamous depressive recluse in the land of the Gauls:
"you americans don't know how lucky you are to be allowed the chance to vote for a kenyan moslem... "
Best troll ever! This quote had even me gnashing my molars to shards.

Tue, November 18, 2008 - 12:58 PMOh, the quote doesn't necessarily have to piss you off, but did make you sit up and take notice with its ridiculousness.
For instance, some people equate Obama's election with no less than an evolution in human consciousness itself! That only makes me giggle. -

Re: Famous ridiculous quotes
Tue, November 18, 2008 - 4:56 PMIf you want nosebleed giggling at utter hand-rubbing ludicrousness, good for passels and passels of silly quotes, look no futher than hillaryis44.org . Here's my current favorite:
>>Obama however needs a lifeline. Obama knows he is not experienced enough nor qualified to be president -so very much like an earlier Saturday Night Live skit - Obama is placing a 3:00 a.m. call to Hillary Clinton. When we wrote The Obama/Biden Game Show we did not realize it would be a remake of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? featuring a hapless Obama desperately asking Hillary Clinton for assistance. That Obama and his campaign bizarrely derided Hillary as “inexperienced” in foreign affairs (not to mention racist) during the primaries makes the calls of “Hillary HELP” that much more humorous. -

Re: Famous ridiculous quotes
Tue, November 18, 2008 - 5:17 PMOh, and here's a good headline from Huffington Post:
>When Obama Takes Office The Climate Will Change
They're not exactly celebrating a total evolution in human consciousness, just a revolution in climate policy---a claim that's almost equally silly in its sheer unfounded grandiosity.

Wed, November 19, 2008 - 8:08 PMDecca Records executive, who turned down and refused to sign the Beatles after their audition: "guitar groups are on their way out."
The quote was accurrate, only it was 40 years ahead of its time.
